The Sixth Region of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) is one of the nine geographical regions established by AUSA to facilitate support for the Army and strengthen connections within the community. The Sixth Region primarily covers the western United States, including states such as California, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington.
AUSA is a private, non-profit educational organization that supports America's Army—Active, Army National Guard, Reserve, civilians, retirees, and family members. The association works to foster public support of the Army's role in national security and provides professional development opportunities for its members. Through its regions and chapters, AUSA connects local communities with the Army, advocating for the needs and concerns of soldiers and their families.
The Sixth Region plays a crucial role in these efforts by organizing events, hosting meetings, and coordinating initiatives that benefit the Army community in its area. These activities include educational programs, awards, scholarships, and networking opportunities, all aimed at enhancing the well-being and readiness of soldiers and their families while promoting the Army's values and missions.
